Question by Alhussein: What are the important parts in a plastic injection machine?
I am about to buy a plastic injection machine for pipe fittining products

Answer by alpha b
*It is a full of hydraulics. And having numerous parts.
Some of the parts:
Hopper
Mould
Heater
Barrel
Reciprocating screw which is driven by a hydraulic motor which feeds the molten plastic in to the mould.
Injection nozzle.
High-Precision and high pressure pumps like gear and vane and piston pumps.
Pressure intensifier and accumulator.
Multi-port directional control valves and limit switches.
Lot of electrical like motor, switches, panel board and lot more.

What do you think? Answer below!
u have the injection unit which is used to liquefy the plastic materials and then inject the liquid into mold. The granular plastic is introduced through hopper (feed throat) then u got the barrel which is made of heavy steel cylinder to withstand the pressure and temperature involved in melting the material. then u have 2 types of systems used in injection molding:
Reciprocating screw or Ram injector.
Reciprocating screw: the entire screw move forward and pushes the molten material (by mechanical shear and thermal energy from heaters) out through the end of barrel. non return valve is attached to the end of screw to ensure the material doesn’t flow backward.
then u have the Mold which consist of a stationary plate and move able plate and the connection from the injection unit to the mold is through the nozzle. then u have the runners system, secondary runners, gates, cavities, ejector, tie bar. Hydraulic motor and gears, hydraulic pump.
